Phoenicopterus chilensis
Its length is 100 cm. It usually has a white plumage with a soft pink. It has big, wide and curved down beak. Their primary wing feathers are pink and the secondary black. It has bluish tarzos knee bone and red legs.
They feed on small invertebrates and aquatic plants.

Distribution: From Arica to Tierra del Fuego
Habitat: They live in areas of shallow water, sweet or salty, , from the coast to approx. 4,000 masl. It is most abundant at the ends of the country.
