Melimoyu Lodge

Melimoyu Lodge is located in northern Patagonia surrounded by huge native forests and crystal clear rivers. It is located between La Junta and Puerto Raúl Marín Balmaceda and it’s designed for lovers of fly fishing and for those seeking a personalized service in one of the most untamed areas of Chile.

Recreational fishing is one of the biggest attractions in the area due to the great variety of salmon that reach the rivers. You will find Chinook and different types of trout, which make this place one of the best in the world for this sport.

Excursions

In addition to fly fishing, Melimoyu Lodge offers different travel programs and it’s characterized by providing a personalized service according to the needs of passengers. The lodge offers excursions to explore almost unexplored places, hiking trails, buggy rides, bicycle routes and kayak rides.

Recommendations

For excursions it is recommended to carry a backpack of 25 lts and several layers of clothing (Capilene, Fleeze, Polar), convertible pants, windbreaker. In Patagonia there is a lot of wind especially in summer. Wear a wool hat, gloves, sunglasses and outdoor shoes.
