Day 1: Transfer to Palafito 1326 hotel from the airport

At the agreed time, we will pick you up at Castro Airport to take you to the Palafito 1326 hotel.
Day 2: Chepu - Pier of light Tour
We will pick you up at your hotel at 09:00 am, on this route we will go directly to the sector of Chepu, where we will be waiting for a navigation in a local boat, which will take us into the river where we will have the opportunity to do birdwatching of various birds, among which you can appreciate: different types of herons, such as the Cuca Heron, Imperial Heron and the mythical Guairao, as well as the Kingfisher Martin, Cahuil Gulls and cormorants among others, and if we are lucky, we may see some aquatic mammals such as the Huillin and the Coipo.
Afterwards we will change course and sail towards the Pacific Ocean, where we will disembark on a beach, to walk approximately 20 minutes to the Muelle de la Luz, from where we will have an extensive view of the ocean. On the way back we will visit a rural tourism house where we will have lunch and visit the house and gardens. Later we will return to the city of Castro to leave the passengers in their lodging.

Day 3: Castro - Dalcahue - Achao

Tour full day in Achao and Dalcahue in Chiloé Island. Visit with us the World Heritage-listed wood churches and the famous Chilean handicraft markets.
This route will take you to know about the cultural, agricultural and religious heritage of Chiloé, by visiting the towns of Dalcahue, Curaco de Vélez and Achao, where you will visit the World Heritage churches of Dalcahue, Achao and Quinchao, small but interesting museums, craft fair and learn about the attractive cuisine of the area.
Introducing us through secondary roads, you will be able to understand why the FAO has recognized Chiloé as an Ingenious World Agricultural Heritage Site (SIPAM), the work of many generations of farmers who developed ingenious practices for the use and conservation of natural resources. An example is the cultivation of more than 200 varieties of native potatoes.
Finally, and depending on the time of year, we will stop at one of the viewpoints that the route offers us, to appreciate some resident birds such as black-necked swans and different species of cormorants and some migratory birds, among which the Curlew stands out. straight-billed (between November and March) and the attractive Chilean Flamingo (between May and August).

Day 4: Castro - Puñihuil - Ancud
Sailing to Puñihuil penguins

Between december and february, the offspring of dozens of Magellanic and Humboldt penguins, gathered in the Islotes de Puñihuil Natural Monument, begin to be born. The navigation also allows you to see other marine species.
Leaving Castro we head towards the northern sector of the archipelago, towards Puñihuil Bay, a secluded cove of fishermen who have managed to maintain their relationship with three islets that make up the only ecosystem in the world where two types of penguins coexist and nest, Humboldt and Magellanic penguins. We will embark for a 30-minute boat ride to observe other marine species such as otters, caracaras, cormorants and sea lions.
Then, we will head to the historic city of Ancud. During this city tour, you will visit emblematic places such as the San Antonio Fort, an imposing construction that reflects the Spanish colonial heritage and offers panoramic views of the ocean. You will also visit the Regional Museum of Ancud, where you will discover the rich history and culture of Chiloé, from its maritime tradition to its legends, along with the Museum of the Chiloé Churches, a space that highlights the architecture, spirituality and heritage value of the churches declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Stroll through the colorful Municipal Market, an ideal place to enjoy local crafts and typical flavors.
We end the tour leaving the passengers at their accommodation in Castro.

Meet "El Muelle de las Almas" one of the unmissable points in Chiloé Island. Enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of the sea and the pacific southern lands silence.
The “Soul Dock” Kuy Kuy Tempilkawe, is a work of art in homage to the oral tradition of the Chilote peoples, based on the legend that tells that when the physical body dies, the soul will perch on this dock to ask for a ferry. and Tempilkawe (the rafter) from whom he asks for his beautiful Llankas (beautiful colored stones) in exchange for taking his soul in his white foam boat to the afterlife.
Located on the cliffs of Punta Pirulil, we will arrive at this place after bordering Lakes Huillinco and Cucao, bordering the Pacific Ocean to the South to the town of Rahue for a walk of approximately one and a half hours reaching the cliffs and dock. After a good rest, we headed to the Chiloé National Park to see the El Tepual trail with its interesting biodiversity.

Day 6: San Juan, Tenaún, Quemchi
The route we propose below will lead you to understand the significance of Chiloé's great architectural, agricultural, and cultural heritage, recognized by UNESCO, FAO, and other national and international organizations as of global importance.
Traveling along roads with views of the inland sea, you will appreciate the Chilote architecture with wooden shingles and churches designated as World Heritage Sites. You'll also encounter agricultural fields, coastal wetlands, and forests, as well as shipyards and fishermen, making Chiloé a unique and distinctive place.
We will visit the towns of San Juan, Tenaún, and Colo, known for hosting churches on the island's coastal area, which are part of the 16 World Heritage Churches of Chiloé.
The journey includes a brief stop at Aucar Island, also known as the Island of the Navigating Souls.
