A journey through the purest ecosystems in the world, listening to the silence of the wind and the breath of the mountains. An invitation to rediscover the zero point
Day 1: Arrival day
Depending on the arrival time, guests are picked up at the airport and then transported to the ecolodge. After settling into the rooms and enjoying a welcome lunch or dinner, we will have a planning meeting with the guide and a detailed equipment check
Day 2: Dientes de Navarino Trekking
After enjoying a good breakfast at the ecolodge, we will be transported to the Róbalo River Water Intake, where we will begin the circuit around 9:30. First, we will cross the forest, ascending to 600 meters above sea level to reach the summit, where a large Chilean flag flutters, and we can enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the city, Beagle Channel, and Tierra del Fuego. We will then continue along the forest's edge, following the Róbalo River valley until we reach the Salto Lagoon and set up camp around 7:00 PM.
Day 3: Dientes de Navarino Trekking- Escondida Lagoon
After breakfast and breaking down the camp, we begin our trekking at 9:00 AM. We take the trail to reach the Australia Pass, circling the Dientes de Navarino massif. In this section, we can appreciate the south of the island and the Wollaston Islands to the north of the Horns Archipelago. A powerful moment as we literally observe the end of the world. We continue walking until we reach a suitable camping area between Laguna de los Dientes or Laguna Escondida, around 7:00 PM.
Day 4: Dientes de Navarino Trekking - Martillo Lagoon or Zeta Lagoon
Breakfast at 8:00 AM and camp breakdown to start walking at 9:00 AM. The trail will take us through a fairy-tale landscape, beautiful lagoons, and forests with the Dientes massif in the background. We will continue until we reach the Ventarrón Pass and Guerrico Pass, ascending to 700 meters above sea level, approaching the beautiful Guerrico Valley. We will have a snack at 1:00 PM and then continue our route until we find a suitable camping site between Laguna Martillo and Laguna Zeta, around 7:00 PM.
Day 5: Dientes de Navarino Trekking - Arrival at Errante Ecolodge
Breakfast at 8:00 AM and camp breakdown to start our trekking at 9:00 AM. We will begin the ascent to Virginia Pass, the highest point of the circuit at 844 meters above sea level, where a surprising view of Beagle Channel and Tierra del Fuego awaits us. We descend, circling the beautiful Guanaco Lagoon, and continue along the trail until we reach the forest to have a snack around 1:00 PM. We then continue the descent until we reach near the Mac Lean fishing station, an abandoned building next to the main route, less than 2 km from the ecolodge, and finally arrive at the shelter around 6:00 PM to rest and share a well-deserved farewell dinner
