On this tour you will get to know the Chilean highlands with its landscapes full of bofedales, yaretas, llamas and flamencos. We will visit the Salar de Huasco National Park, an area of extensive wetlands, which is why it is considered a place of international importance.
Excursion departing to the Altiplano at 08:30 am from the hotel, taking the route towards Minera Collahuasi, to arrive at 11:30 am and witness its beautiful flora and fauna, landscape, and geography. Highlights include vizcachas, alpacas, llamas, ducks, geese, and pink flamingos, as well as extensive bofedales and yaretas (local vegetation). Picnic-style lunch (Box Lunch) and free time for trekking and photography along the salt flats, with a comprehensive presentation of the ecosystem by our assigned tour guide. Tea service and return to the hotel in Iquique at 8:00 pm.
