What you will visit:

We will pick you up at your hotel in Pucón or Villarrica at 10 AM, to travel along the lake shore. You will learn about the most important secrets of the cultural history of the cities of Pucón and Villarrica. In the city of Villarrica, we will visit the Museum of the Catholic University of Villarrica, where we will see an exhibition of traditional and pre-Hispanic instruments, along with a significant historical display about the city. We will then continue to the Catholic Cathedral and the beautiful waterfront on the western side of Lake Villarrica. We will also visit the viewpoint and the commercial center of the city. Villarrica is known for its craftsmanship in wood, stone, and textiles, which you can admire at the Fritz Artisan Market and local handicraft shops, where we will find a typical Mapuche Ruka (a straw house from this ancient indigenous people).

After visiting Villarrica, we will continue our journey to Pucón, located at the foot of the majestic Villarrica Volcano, to visit the famous Playa Grande de Pucón, where we can enjoy the view of the tranquil Villarrica Lake.

We will also visit the Poza area, an old beach where wood was stored to be transported by steamships to Villarrica in the 1800s. Today, Poza is a wonderful place with a privileged view of the majestic Villarrica Volcano and its surroundings. Here, we can enjoy its tranquility, silence, and beautiful natural greenery while learning about some of the bird species in the area.

We will continue this visit to the famous Wood Flower Craft, where you can learn about its unique production process and, if you wish, participate in crafting them. Then, we will head to the viewpoint of the Monastery of the Poor Clares, from where you can appreciate the beauty of Pucón in all its splendor. From there, we will head to the main square of the city to admire its ancient trees and visit the special center of this important town in southern Chile.

Afterward, we will transfer you back to your hotel.
