One of the best places of Chiloé is the Chiloé National Park. It is characterized by its green landscapes and nature trails, ideal for those who make excursions.
This route will show you the nature of which the naturalist Charles Darwin was amazed when touring the Huillinco and Cucao Lakes and the Pacific Ocean.
The tour includes a visit to the city of Chonchi, known as the "City of Three Floors" for its different slopes where its World Heritage Church stands out, the Museum of Traditions, the waterfront and craft market, and then continue to the town lake of Huillinco where you can appreciate a cemetery of very characteristic houses of Chiloé and its characteristic dock.
The visit to the Chiloé National Park includes an attractive walk along the "El Tepual" trail where you can see the typical Chiloé forest and a visit to the visitor center where you can see part of the morphology of the area and more than one typical Chiloé tool such as it is the press for the apple pestle. Finally, an encounter with the Pacific Ocean and its wide beach, to return to Castro in the afternoon.
