Iquique is one of the most important cities in the north of Chile by the strong saltpeter past. You will know the history behind the architecture of the Paseo Baquedano and we will cross the coast, with its beaches and attractions, to end up shopping at the Zofri mall.
We leave from your hotel at approximately 8:30 am and move to the southern sector of the city of Iquique. Here you can visit Huayquique, Brava and Cavancha beaches. Then we go to the pedestrian walk Avenida Baquedano which was declared a typical zone in 1977 for its architecture and tradition. It is considered one of the most emblematic sectors of the city.
We will visit the Astoreca Palace, the Regional Museum, Arturo Prat Square, the Municipal Theater and the Spanish Casino, so later we head for the historic port where the Rimac Palace and Centennial Market are located.
We finish the tour in the Zofri mall, where you can do shopping and make purchases tax free.
13:30 hours: We will be back at your hotel.
